Location - North Arena.
A ranch rodeo is a traditional rodeo where teams of cowboys and cowgirls from different ranches compete in events that simulate everyday ranch work. Ranch rodeos are different from other rodeos in a few ways:
Contestants
Ranch rodeo contestants are usually full-time ranch hands who compete for fun and bragging rights, rather than professional rodeo cowboys.
Events
Ranch rodeo events are more similar to tasks commonly performed on a working cattle ranch, such as roping, sorting, and branding calves.
Equipment
Contestants use the same equipment and tack they use every day on the ranch.
